Privacy

What we store

• Your listing: the profile URL, handle, tagline and avatar you submitted. All of this is public — that is the point of the board.
• Your payments: amount, time, and the Polar order ID. Card details never reach us; Polar handles those as merchant of record.
• Your email, if you gave one or Polar passed one along at checkout. Used for receipts and to let you edit your listing. Never shown publicly and never sold.
• Clicks: when someone clicks a listing we store the listing, the hour, and a salted hash of the visitor's IP address. The hash exists only to stop one person inflating a count. We do not store raw IP addresses.

Cookies

One cookie, w1_owner. It is set after a successful payment and signed so it cannot be forged. It records which listings this browser may edit. No advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use PostHog to count page views and measure how many people who look at the board go on to bid. Analytics requests are proxied through this domain, so no third-party script talks directly to your browser from another host.

Deleting your data

Mail us and we will remove your listing and the email attached to it. Payment records have to be kept for tax and accounting purposes.
